Status Change on Return Flight
 

Correct me if I'm wrong. I thought I read here that if your status (ie, Gold to Plat) changed after flying your first flight, you should call the Elite line to make sure your new staus is reflected on the return portion so you can receive your bonus miles.
I'm not complaining. I already got upgraded. Thrilled I made Plat with miles to spare. I needed 104 miles but had to make a 5000 mile trip so I called the Elite line to see if the new status was reflected on my return and was told "I booked as gold, I'll remain a gold until my next trip booked as a Plat". Just thought i had read differently here.

Your new status will be reflected for the bonuses. If upgraded then I would not be worried. If you do not get the right bonuses, call the elite line to get it fixed.
