So Long DUS
Flew out of DUS this week. I'm not going to miss it. Stood in the WBC/Elite line (at the front) for almost 25 minutes, while the Swissport contracted agents appeared to carry out the ticketing transaction of the century for the pax in front of me.
The idea of opening another line or moving the rope so the WBC/Elite pax could utilize one of the coach reps was out of the question. Security screening was painful to watch, and made US TSA look like efficiency experts.
Today is the last flight.

It continues to amaze me how inefficient airline ticketing counters are outside of the U.S. It makes me appreciate online check-in, NW kiosks, and even most, the NW counters in the U.S.

Last week I had to wait 30min to get checked in in MUC. The Air France agent (who was handling AF/KL/AZ) was trying to deal with a woman in front of me who had some kind of issue (30min is not normal). Meanwhile prettymuch all of economy checked in in the other line whilst I waited.
