Safe Travels on this Day, 7 Years Later
Greeting Red Tail Enthusiasts and all FT'ers:
Just was thinking about today, and its significance and wanted to wish you all safe travels. Not looking for political discussion or anything of the like. Just reflecting and it is hard to believe. Hope you are all well and remember the little things that we like to argue about here sometimes seem small in comparison! Be well Y'all!

I agree - - not a political discussion, just a moment to reflect, and wish all safe travels everywhere.

Thanks!
It does make you stop and pause a minute to refect.
I was on the first flight MSP-PHX when NWA got flying again ... NEVER have I seen an airport and flight sooooooo quiet.
Not something I will soon forget.
Safe Travels!

I was in Spokane - watching on a hotel TV in the breakfast room - I thought it was a movie. I didn't get out until the Saturday.

I was on Oahu, working in the air travel industry. My parents called from New Jersey at about 3AM.
I remember the ensuing days, when the skies - usually full of planes - were empty. And the sensation of being "isolated."

Let us never forget. I too still remember how very quiet the skies were for a few days.

TSA Apathy for "9-11"
I left SNA for MSP yesterday morning when the announcement came over the airport speakers that there would be a moment of silence for the rememberence of "9-11". I was in the security line at the time of the first plane-tower impact and only a few of the TSA's stood quietly while the rest of them just went about their business, ignoring the announcement, checking ID, laughing and talking loudly even though it appeared that they were briefed that there would be a moment to remember.
Sad to see the incredible apathy by the TSA.
(Although, it came as no surprise due to the quality of the average TSA individual.)
