CO versus NWA from USA to AMS

If you drink, alcohol is free on NWA and not on CO TATL. Depending on the aircraft type you may or may not have IFE on NWA. Personally, I prefer NWA TATL, or KLM. Other will likely have tons more insight, but that's my 2 cents.

Cybershaz hit the material differences for a non-elite riding in economy: free booze on NW and audio and video on-demand on NW's Airbus 330s. Since you'd have to drink an awful lot of free booze to make up for the change fee, I'd leave your reservation as is. Both airlines' seats are going to have roughly the same mediocre pitch unless you can snag an exit row or bulkhead seat.

I have flown both NW, CO & KL to Amsterdam. I prefer KL, but out of your choices I would choose NW. Reasons why, I like DTW, it is a great aiport and much easier to get into than Newark, everything is always late. Free booze on NW. The Airbus is a nice ride and the AVOD is nice too. Also in AMS, you are in a hub with many more resources/flights at your disposal than with CO.

sorry, i wanted to get the opinion of both continental and nwa/klm flyers. my intent wasn't to be a bother or break message board rules.

actually (as you can see), most of us will look at the other ST boards and most of us will fly CO/DL/AF/NW/KL or whatever TATL routinely anyway. For a broad view you should use the ST forum, but that sees little traffic.
