Yeah i just recently flew this plane DTW-DCA. Flying home today. My biggest gripe about these F seats is the lack of a foot rest! I'm kind of a short guy so longer flights kill my legs without a foot rest! Oh well!

This has not been my experience at all. The loungy chairs, that have a habit of leaning back extra far, seem to have *extra* padding - really making it like a recliner!

I would describe the DC-9 F seats as a thin board, though!

I flew in F on an A320SR today, and as a 6' 3" person, those shorter seat backs really, really suck. The top band of cushion struck me in a weird place across the shoulders, and was rather uncomfortable. I just attributed it to the French designing their planes around a shorter target audience, kinda like how those stupid row numbers are placed down where I have to stoop over to see them. Dumb, dumb, dumb...
