Did the merger already wipe out all awards?

How is it possible that there is not a single award available in any class of service for any day between AMS and CPT in November, December, January, February, or March (to end of schedule)?

How can there not be a single WBC seat between NRT and SIN on any date in November, December, January, February, or March; and exactly 1 single coach seat for the entire 4 month period spanning September, October, November, and December?

Has the "Deltization" or "Slymileization" of WorldPerks already begun?

I really doubt it. AMS-CPT is a KL route. Why would NWs merger with DL affect what the scrooges at AF-KL do? It's more likely that they are withholding seats from ST partners.

I am trying to book SYR-TPA for 2 people 4/2/09. No standard award/Perksaver all day 4/1,4/2,4/3. They have blocked the lowest fair also. DL is already changing our world. I can book rule bust/PerkPass. This is our future and it is not pretty.

I was wondering the same thing. The minute I received the email announcing the merger, I dumped 100K on 4 PHL>LAX tix next February. The night before, I was able to pull availability on various flights/routings for 6 people. Not anymore. At least we got 4 of the 6 before they all disappeared.....

Sorry the number is 352

I think CO is 330 or is it DL or both. NW is 352. There was rulebust/PerkPass hence you can book it. I just confirmed with PE Line.

I found WBC to asia next spring, but got this error when I clicked the PerkSaver buttons...

A processing error has occurred. Please select alternate flights or contact nwa.com Customer Service at 1-800-692-6955. (Message 150)

Ever since the new nwa.com site has been put in, I only get these 150 error messages...

Yeah NWA.com has been fairly broken since the new website went up. I have especially noticed problems when combining two airlines on one leg of a trip (i.e. a DL to SU connection). If you want to do some serious miles burning, get a subscription to expert flyer and do some availability research. Then take advantage of our new Gold and Platinum elite benefit (no phone booking fees for awards) and call the nice people at the elite desk to book the awards.

The new website is broken, and most of NW's phone agents know it. If I get errors on award tix or can't price out an ITA fare correctly on nwa.com I immediately call the regular or Silver line. The first thing I mention to the CSA is that the website wasn't working correctly, thereby forcing me to call. They usually take the initiative after I'm done booking and talk to a supervisor to waive the call center fee. If they don't, a subtle reminder and asking to speak to a supervisor about it has done the trick every single time.

Everytime that I search for an award ticket, the message shows up. So, as a PE, I take advantage of free telephone booking and spend lots of time with agents tracking down inventory.

This problem is minor compared to the merger nonsense. It probably will not be fixed, just MHO.

I wonder if this wasnt caused by everyone else doing the same thing you did...would explain the seats disappearing

That was my thought too. Seems like there'd be quite a few WP members trying to spend miles right now.

I think it began quietly some weeks or even months ago. I've had huge problems redeeming miles.
