No more checking Waitlist for PerkSaver

I have a flight that is CO PerkPass and NW PerkPass for next year in 1st MSP-EWR-SMX SJU-MSP. I have waitlisted PerkSaver on NW but need to check daily on the CO flights. I actually have a had a few times in a similar situation where I called NW back and got PerkSaver as the waitlist never cleared and got Standard Award/Perksaver whatever you want to call it.

Anyway the agent told me today that they were informed a few days ago that waitlists for Standard Award in first are never checked by NW so for both NW and CO I need to call back. That is what it seemed like but now I have confirmation.
