Where did "SchmutzigMSP" Go?
 

I have not seen our good friend SchmutzigMSP post in awhile. Is everything alright? Even on past trips he was posting on here daily.

Last I heard he was on hiatus, but otherwise doing fine. :)

A couple of weeks ago I pulled up one of his old posts and his status indicated he had been 'suspended'... I don't know when this happened, why it happened or for how long, but at Mrs Bob H says, his posts were always interesting.

He sent an e-mail out to a couple people a few weeks back--the contents of which we were asked to not disclose.

It is sufficient to say that he requested a voluntary six-month suspension from FT to allow himself time to evaluate if certain events in his life will preclude him from posting here further. But, yes, all is well.

Weird, I have thinking about retiring from active posting especially (after the merger), but I hadn't thought about requesting a suspension to do it.

I think he may have actually gotten a suspension without asking (i.e. for bickering in here) and then due to other events just asked for it to be extended or something.

I heard from a little birdie that it might have been more along the lines of what DanTravels said. Hopefully he will be back soon - he has helped me greatly in FT-sense!

I can verify that -- shortly following the WAS-747 mini-do.
His explaination is fully satisfactory to me, and look forward to his 'new & improved' return, and appearance at AnnArbor too!

Though often one-sided (pro NWA), SchmutigMSP's posts were informative. I look forward to seeing him back, after he re-evaluates how to balance FT and his 9to5.
