Elite Extension Question-Please Help!

My silver elite status is up at the end of February. Just wondering if there are any promos that exist to extend or qualify for 2004. The benefits have been nice.

Did you come close go 25K EQM's in 2003?

You might be reconsidered if you can make a case that you will be flying a lot in 2004 and have some nwa tickets already purchased.

In general it is "use it or loose it". If your flying habits were such that you can not maintain status, NW (and others) will not be interested in maintaining you status. If, however, you had certain circumstances in 2003 that slowed your flying and you can demonstrate more flying in 2004 (busy November/December, or busy start to the year), NW may be inclined to give you status.

Never hurts to ask, and be prepared to show that you can maintain status in 2004.

For example: If you were a reservist activated to active duty last year, NW will hold your elite status for 2004.

In this case you have a good reason and NW would expect that your flying will start up again once you are back to work.

Always worth asking!

On another note, I missed plat by 5000 miles. Any promo to go from Gold to Plat?? Last year I was 5000 short of gold and they had a promo to make gold in the first two months of 2003.

Sounds not like a promotion. Status year run from Mar. 1st to end of Feb. the next year.
