Need some help determining availability
 

I am flying DTW - NCE via AMS on the 22 Dec flight 54. I have managed to upgrade 2 of 4 seats, but have not been able to secure 2 more.

1 I can do with "z" inventory, the other will need "d" as it is an award ticket. I have been checking ITN and it seems to change daily, but when I talk to the Elite line the agent has told me it is WIDE open. Can anyone help me see what is the real deal....

The best bet is to call the elite line daily, as you cannot view "D" inventory anymore. With it being the holidays, it will be hard to find "D", although they might move some C or J to Z if you are lucky. Make sure you are waitlisted for those inventory buckets and good luck!!

Thanks, and I have done what you suggested. What I cannot figure out is how many seats are actually empty. One day ITN show J9 C9 the next J9 C0 and back and forth. I am assuming the space will open once I see any space in "Z"...

I was hoping someone at FlyerTalk might have some inside info....
