4-6 weeks for status comp

Help! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I sent a fax to NW WP customer service with supporting documents to request a Silver level comp from Delta for a colleague.

I called them today to check on the request, and the agent read notes indicating that a decision was pending in about 4-6 weeks. This is too long, because they have credit cards to switch over to WP from Amex (and associated Bond purchases before 12/30), as well as upcoming trips to credit to NW.

Does anyone have an email address for either Beth Shultis or someone in her office so I can request that they review the application for a faster decision? If NW says 'no', then I need to switch this person over to UA instead.

I also asked in the fax for someone from NW corporate sales to contact my company (a fortune 100 member), as we are reviewing our annual airline vendors, and there could be an opening for NW....but so far, no phone calls from sales, so I want to escalate that request also.

Northwest told me in no uncertain terms in January and February beginning in 2003 they will not comp CO or NW as they are now in a codeshare agreement.

Good luck.

Some DL flyers have reported getting comped this year in a day or 2; our faxed-in request last year took a couple of weeks. It may be that NW is getting so many requests for comps from DL medallions at this point that they're slow.
