First off, good luck draining your account for a standard award to Hawai'i

Secondly, there's a lot of information posted on this board on how to get mileage quickly. If you need it within the next 24 hours, I'd suggest transferring miles from another WPs account like from a friend's or family member but that will cost ya money and the minimum to transfer is, I believe, 5k miles.

You could always iDine, buy something really expensive on WPs Mall...

but then again, good luck getting that standard award availability to Hawai'i. Make sure you're extremely flexible and check often if you can't get those dates you want.

Aloha!

For quickness...

Aside from taking quick flights on NW/CO/KLM, let me see...

How about three different Thrifty Car Rental? You'd have to rent them three different times though, earning triple miles (750 miles instead of 250 miles). Mileage accrual on car rental is rather quick.

Purchasing mileage from Northwest??

Have you considered cash and mile promotion to Honolulu at www.nwa.com?

3 rentals would cost more than i am willing to pay.

buying the miles is a ripoff at $95 for 2500 miles.

the cash and miles promo is not really worth it, especially from boston.

the only really good way that i can find seems to be to find someone with excess diners club points that would want to trade 4380 points for something (like co drink certs?), which would give me 2500 miles at little cost.

oh well, i guess i'll have to skip hawaii this time...

do you know how much the nw transfer fee is? i know that diners club charges either $1.90 or 380 points to transfer 4000 points into 2500 nw miles... of course i'd pay the transfer fee if someone wanted to help out
