NW-CO codeshare from AVP

There is a CO flight between AVP and CLE. But it does not show as a valid NW codeshare. Anybody can shed a light?

NW and CO don't codeshare all flights. Also, they do not codeshare non-stops.

You may purchase AVP-CLE on CO and still earn NW miles and other perks, though.

Can someone say for sure? I think you will be in a situation of flying partner of a partner. Continental flights between these 2 destinations are operated by CommutAir as Continental Connection. As understood from NW website: 'All Continental, Continental Express and Continental Micronesia operated flights' only earn NW WP miles. May be that is the reason these flights are not NW code shared.

I just noticed the AVP CO flight yesterday while looking into flight schedules for EWR on travelocity. AVP was significantly cheaper than EWR and came up as an alternative. I didn't realize CO serviced AVP so I pulled it up out of curiosity and it said operated by CommuterAir using B1000 TurboProp for CO.

AVP is about 150+ some miles from where I need to be, so AVP won't be a choice on that particular trip (but might work on future trip to Elysburg, PA, that I'm looking at).

I believe only CO, CO Express, and CO Mike flights qualify. I didn't see anything about CommuterAir (?) on nwa's site.

Best,
