Has anyone on this board even been able to submit a guess? Is there any anti-bot technology to keep someone from having a bot submit all possible NWA destinations immediately starting at 12:01 AM CDT?

Here's the winnner:
Week 2: Istanbul, Turkey
Congratulations to Nicoleta B. of Brooklyn, NY who was the first person to correctly guess this week's Mystery Destination.
This week's clues were:
1. With thousands of years of history, Max
wonders if he'll ever have time to explore it all.
2. Max climbs the first hill he sees and from the
top has a vision of six statuesque beauties.
3. With over seven times the number of shops as the Mall of America, Max decides this is the perfect place to buy something he can walk all over.
4. A land divided; east and west; old and new.
5. Max heads for the hotel where Agatha Christie penned Murder On The Orient Express.
Now, how she got Istanbul with just the first clue is beyond me? I'm gonna have to believe it was one lucky guess.
I still believe this part of the promotion blows.

This contest seems... well.. .idiotic. Why not let everyone answer and then pick randomly from those who answered correctly?

I was able to guess last week at 12:15am. Got the message that they were evaluating a potential winner.
What got me was that there was this statement: "This week's destination is one word". I guessed Parthenon, but the answer was Istanbul, Turkey. Would "Istanbul" alone been the correct answer? If so, why not say "this week's destination was Istanbul"?
Also, terms say you can only guess once per day, so robot/automatic answers would not work for a single WP number.
I think you have to just guess. No time for googling.
Good luck tonight!

So, what would the clues be for Minot? Bemidji?
We could have the NW FT version of the game, with prizes to be determined later.....

Or, maybe the Jeopardy version of the game. Say the destination, then guess the clues...

This just in:
Today's clue is noted in bold....
1. Max had a hard time planning this trip as this place is fun to visit any time of the year.
It's two words, I guess San Francisco, should have guessed Los Angeles - which is what I think it is.
And in 8 minutes they are evaluating a winner.
It wasn't Los Angeles, nor was it Big Ben.

I figured that the use of the word "fun" was not without specific intent. I guessed Disney Land, but that was wrong.

I am guessing San Diego or Los Angeles. But I was too late to enter.
