Zone Certs from zone B?
I don't fly NW often, and haven't looked in detail at the zone certs in years.
But I've got some friends from Detroit who are finding $400+ fares for a simple trip to MSY next Spring. I was thinking a zone cert might help them out, but a quick look on coupon connection and ebay only finds ones that exclude originating in zone B.
Does NW ever send out coupons without this exclusion these days? If so, what are the PK codes I should be looking for?
Thanks in advance from this AA'er.

Zone certs usually put Ohio in Zone A. If you really want to use one, your friends could fly out of TOL instead of DTW. NW has service only to DTW from TOL and it is just a short hop, but check the connections carefully. Sometimes a TOL connection can result in a long layover at DTW.
