T class = No credit?

Couldn't find the answer to this on a search (although I'm sure it's out there).

Just looking at my history page on NWA.com. It says one of my segments (on CO) was a T-class and didn't qualify it for Elite miles! What is this?

Also, on Jan 1, 2003 I flew 2 segments, on a return, (H-class) and it's not counting those either! Any other airline counts Jan 1st miles. Elite qualification is 1/1 - 12/31 how could this not qualify?

Please coach me up on the rules before I call in.

Thanks,
Fletch

All CO fares count toward status on NW... I've had plenty of T fares post to my account.

Any explaination on why the Jan 1 miles didn't count towards elite?

Maybe somebody screwed up? Contact NW and inquire.

Did they not qualify for miles or segments?

Call NW CS, they should be able to get the miles posted to your account.

SoldIt,
Thanks man! You nailed it. It was just the segment, not the flight that didn't qualify. I don't even care about segments because the miles were counted.

Thanks again FT.

Only high-revenue fare class segments count for segment qualification... this was a feature added for the current program year.

What's interesting is that every single CO leg I've flown so far has come across as Y -- although I've never actually booked into Y. I've been assuming it was a glitch that would get fixed at some point.

I've seen this quite a bit too...there is definitely some 'communication' issues between NW/CO FF system 'puters. Not that I'm complaining.
