After hanging out in the AA, CO & DL forums (fora??), stopping by the NW forum seems so deadly dull. No campaigns. No threatened strikes. No livid threats against the CEO.

Yes, lol, there are the spinzels. And whether front or upper deck is better (although generally agreed upon). Let's see, oh and for critizing others for incorrect wordings (no offense to you FCTSTY). Yea that's about it. Oh NW is looking for concessions from the Unions for about 800 million a year (that's nuttin compared to AA, UA and US.) Another hot topic is the proper use of topic headings. I noticed that yours did not have a capital letter at the begining and two question marks at the end.

Not exactly.

NW didn't have a major presence at DTW until they acquired Republic Airlines.

O well, NW basically was from MSP, but not for offices then or whatever it was. MSP is still their main hub. DTW is the largest. I know that's odd, but that's the way they say it.

OK. here's a devisive issue. NW literature states that its HQ is St. Paul. Doesn't that slam the Minneapolis side of of MSP??

NW headquarters is actually in Eagan, a suburb. Maybe that literature came from an office in St. Paul. Can't remember whether Eagan was closer to Minneapolis or St. Paul... Anyways, sometimes companies here say the closest major city in place of their actually city in their "about us" section (i.e. United saying it's hq is is chicago, when it is not.) because the major city is well known, while the suburb is not.
