simple question on elite bonus

Hi guys,

I'm just evaluating WorldPerks and after finding lot's of very useful answers in this forum and in the archive, I still have 2 questions open for confirmation. They are extremly basic:

1. Are elite bonus miles (50%/100%/125%) qualifying towards elite status, too? Or are only the actual flown miles (or 500 miles minimum alternatively) plus 50% class of service bonus qualifying?

2. How do I correctly calculate the earned miles an a 1.000 miles trip (on NW to keep it simple) in paid business class for a gold elite?

variant 2a:
1.000 miles flown
500 class of service bonus
1.500 100% gold elite bonus on everything
total of 3.000 miles (3.000 or 1.500 qualifying, see question 1?)

variant 2b:
1.000 miles flown
500 class of service bonus
1.000 100% gold elite bonus on actual miles only
total of 2.500 miles (2.500 or 1.500 qualifying, see question 1?)

Thank's a lot for your help! I'm really appreciating...

Elite bonuses do not count toward elite qualifying status.

The link below will allow you to determine the miles you'll earn (including elite / class of service bonuses).

But they do need to update their database to use the new ICN for Seoul-Incheon instead of SEL for Seoul-Kimpo.
