Does 1 way flights count for FlyFreeFaster2?
Hi,
I was just wondering if 1 way flights count for the FlyFreeFaster2 promo? My wife flew from Chicago to Detroit. Has anyone flew 1 way, and got there 10,000 bonus miles? |
Just a few days ago I called Worldperks to ask this very same question. I was told one-way travel IS considered to be a qualifying activity. Unfortunately I forgot to get the name of the person who told me this! I have completed all the required transactions but have not received the 10,000 bonus as I'm waiting for a few things to post. (Idine, Barnes and Noble, Radisson...)

It seems pretty clear to me all you need to do is have one qualifying flight post, they don't care whether its one-way or round-trip, and I'm not sure why you need confirmation of that, aren't the posted rules pretty darn clear on that? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/confused.gif

Here are the posted rules. Seems rather clear.
Qualifying Flight: Qualifying flight segments include any fare that awards WorldPerks miles, including CyberSaver Fares, on flights taken during Promotional Period. Member must earn WorldPerks Miles on the flight for it to be considered a Qualifying Activity. A qualifying flight segment must be flown on or between May 1 and July 31, 2002. Flights must be operated by Northwest Airlines or Northwest Airlink flight numbers 5600-5979 (operated by Express Airlines I d/b/a NW Airlink) and flight numbers 2700-3600 (operated by Mesaba d/b/a NW Airlink) or Northwest-designated flights operated by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Partner Airlines operated flights are not included. http://www.nwa.com/offers/flyfreefaster2/ |
I was just getting a little gun shy getting close to the end date.
Sure enough my wife's 1 way trip posted last night. |
