At what point does NWA suspend flights to India?

You mean because of the war-related sabre-rattling? Don't think any airline currently plans to suspend flights to India.

NW doesn't fly to India - KLM does (NW codeshare). NW stopped after 9/11 and KL has one flight a day. Most flights are heavily booked so probably will be around for the foreseeable future.

Actually NWA does fly its own metal (744) to Mumbai (BOM). Flight 68 leaves Detroit, stops in AMS and continues onto BOM...I was just on the flight two weeks ago. Flight 67 is the return, again on NWA metal. Yes, it iwas actually OVERSOLD in both coach and WBC on each routing. So I don't see them suspending the flights any time soon.

NW flies to Mumbai in India. NW suspended flights to Delhi.

Thanks Europa, was wondering why KLM would be flying NW painted planes on 67/68.....I guess my question should have been about when will NWA's insurance carriers have them suspend flights to India. The cost of a 747 is a large multiple of full flights so I doubt that is even in the equation. Hopefully this is only a question and both sides will back down after looking over the edge.
