Acct history says I will be gold in March even though only 30K+ flight miles in 2001. I hadn't heard they lowered the std. and their elite guide online still says 50K required, however I did get extra credited flight miles for Visa miles last Fall from that one-time promotion. Thanks, NW!

If was an online promotion that bumps your current status up by one level if:
* You fly x round-trips (2*x one-ways) on Y,B,M domestic fares
* You fly two one-way across the pond in J,C, or Z WBC fares.
