Schedule Change

Does anyone know of any cuts by Northwest or KLM in flights on certain routes?
I'm only asking because a flight to JFK from Amsterdam that I've been taking for the past few years doesn't appear after October when I'm looking up fares on nwa.com. The flight is KLM 643/Northwest 8643 and it leaves about 7 p.m. It's perfect for my schedule. I don't want to have to switch carriers but I may have to if this isn't available anymore.

KL643 departs AMS 19:15, arriving JFK 21:20, daily except Mondays.

According to the latest (August) release of the KLM timetable, the flight should operate all winter.

Flights from JFK are KL642 (departure 18.35) and KL644 (23.10).

Ah HA! That explains it. I was looking only on Mondays for that flight. It used to run 7 days a week.
Thank you for the information.

I recall reading in Aviation Week that KLM was eliminating one of the JFK frequencies this winter. But I don't follow the market closely enough to know which one...

I'm booked on NW8643 on a Wed in Dec. Extremely hard to upgrade. Only Y fare upgrade available as of yesterday.
