Does anyone kow how the WorldPerks premium program compares to to the American Advantage program?

That's a rather broad question! Are there any features that are of particular interest to you, such as domestic upgrades, elite bonus, etc...?

Randy Petersen and his InsideFlyer colleagues assign numerical ratings, from 1 to 10, with 10 being best, to domestic and foreign airline frequent-flier programs. The editors evaluate award choices, partnerships, rules and conditions, service support and other factors.

Among the U.S. Big Three carriers evaluated in 2000, American's AAvantage, with an 8.7 rating, scored best, followed by United Mileage Plus at 8.5 and Delta SkyMiles at 8.3. Highly regarded international carrier Singapore Airlines' KrisFlyer followed at 7.9.

Though one should note that Randy's review of the NW program is incorrect on the topic of domestic upgrades for Silver elites. These are now unlimited and automated, subject to availability and capacity controls of course!

The "lower-mileage" award of NWA requires a Saturday night stay, while American's "lower-mileage" award does not. I find this extremely irritating, but many others do not.
