anybody have any idea? dtw, msp, sea, lax, sfo, or las? i may take advantage of this new sale with nyc-hkg for $598 plus tax, and if i go steerage, give me a plane with a light load factor.

For me, it's SEA.

Lonman,

Please tell me more about the $598 to HKG - dates, other cities, etc.

BTW, SFO has been light for me in the past.

I fly NW #7 (SEA-NRT) approximately two to four times per month. The flight is usually full, or darn close. Last week, January 15th, they were offering $600 for people to take the next days flight. WBC on #7 is usually three-quarters to completely full every time I fly.

I'd check itn.net to see how full a flight is. If I had to hazzard a guess it would be ex-MSP

JFK is a pretty empty flight. SEA and SFO is light depending on season.

The hub flights (DTW/MSP) are usually pretty full.

it was in the sale ad which appeared in usa today yesterday. i think it is good until the end of march. it is a v class fare, so, hence, it should receive mileage credit. with tax, it comes to $650. it seems like availability is limited, but i found a couple different itineraries for late feb-early march.

jtg what days of the week do you normally fly? i seems to remember that thurs-sat are the most busy days to asia with business flyers flying in and prepping for the next work week.
