email registration bonus

I just got an email from Northwest as follows:
---------------------
Dear Northwest Airlines E-Mail subscriber:

To thank you for your continued interest in promotional e-mail
from Northwest Airlines, we would like to reward you with up
to 1,000 WorldPerks Bonus Miles*.

In order to credit your account, we need to match your
WorldPerks number with your email address. Please take a minute
to visit https://www.nwa.com/email/email_mod.html
and enter your WorldPerks number under "account modifications".
-------------------------------------------
So I signed up. But I wonder if I'll really get the miles, because I had signed up and got 500 miles on May 9th, and am supposed to get another 500 miles 6 months later (November 9th)? So, with the vagaries of frequent flyer mile programs, I figure the following possibilities exist:
1. I'll get 1500 more miles because the two programs are independent.
2. I'll get 1000 more miles because the new program will override the previous one.
3. I'll get 500 more miles because I'm already enrolled in the previous program so the new one won't count.
4. I'll get no more miles because I violated all kinds of fine print and unwritten rules, even though I've just followed instructions.

It unfortunately appears that possibility 4 is the correct answer. See http://www.nwa.com/features/email.shtml
The fine print says "Email subscribers who were awarded miles in the previous bonus mile campaign are not eligible to earn miles a second time". It doesn't hurt to try.

Yeah, I still haven't gotten any miles from the first time I registered my email address months ago.

The web page pointed out by skyflyer seems pretty clear on this issue. But it is still interesting that neither the email that I received, nor the web page that it pointed me to, include this disclaimer.

Also, if that interpretation is correct, I still would go for scenario #3, because I've been a subscriber for the 6 months that they originally asked for.

motnot,
My guess has to be that the email I received is targeted at those people who get email but didn't get the previous bonus (a catagory I didn't fall into.) I don't know why the (secure) link that I included didn't show up, but you can go to http://www.nwa.com/email/email_mod.html
and try again. My miles originally took about 6 weeks to post, if I remember right.
