Mileage Posting Delay
 

I have a couple of flight segments that I flew last Sunday, August 13 (4 days ago) that posted to my WorldPerks account without any miles. In the "Reason Not Credited" column these two flights are listed as "Pending internal processing". Anyone else experience this, and anyone know what kind of internal processing could be going on?

NW just went to a new system for tracking flights, which has caused delays for all types of posting. I just had some KLM flights be listed as "pending for internal processing" for a few days before they were credited, along with Elite bonus. I don't know what kind of processing is going on, but the flights should post soon enough.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for the miles to post. It doesn't really matter much to me right now but if I didn't have elite status and I were really close to reaching it.....

I just spoke to a WP rep, sine my EWT-DTW and DTW-LAX flights did not credit from Aug. 12. She said that NW has switched over to a new system which attempts to verify the various details of a flight (e.g., class of service paid for vs. flown), rather than simply posting the flights automatically. The agent also said that it will, from now on, take WP mileage about 2-3 weeks to post.

Nice timing. I just got one of their elite "rah, rah, look how much progress we've made" letters. This is progress?
