I received this email from NW. Have any of you tried this? what do you get out of it?

I've been a member for three or four years now. You sign up and fill out some survey information. E-Rewards will then send you opinion surveys of various values to fill out if you choose. You will receive anywhere from 10 cents to $15 or more depending on whether you meet the survey requirements or not. You can use the "money" balance to get miles on a few airlines (AA, NWA, CO, etc), or a number of other items.

Whether it is worth your time or not depends on how much time you have and how much time you want to spend on filling out opinion surveys.

Here are a couple of threads that might be of interest (note that there are a lot of threads in various forums talking about E-Rewards. These are just a few that I found doing a quick search):

Also, if you decide you like E-Rewards to get NW miles, there is another similar survey company called e-miles. You can do a search for that as well and find a lot of good info.

It takes a LOT of E-rewards to get miles (100$ for 2000 miles).

I figured I would use my 100$ of E-rewards currency for a 100$ e-bags g/c. Heck, I have nothing else to do with my time.

I've redeemed $50 for 1k WPs miles once. Generally speaking, I'll try to stick to redeeming HHonors points for $50 e-rewards currency. But I'l currently looking to top off my account, so I'll likely redeem $100 for 2k miles in the next few weeks.

Process is pretty painless. Miles post instantly.

Thats what I do now. Instead of using my E-rewards for a small amount of mileage, I now use them at ebags or for magazine subscriptions. Ebags is a wonderful site and offers a wide range of products. I bought a couple of their branded bags and am tickled pink with how well they've held up. They blow anything in their price range out of the water.

E-miles is a pretty good program. Their surveys are short and to the point. It might take a matter of months to reach the next 500 mile increment but its worth it. I receive a deposit ever quarter, almost without exception.

Being the OP for Erewards is a scam post, this is my 2 cents:

So I've gotten a number of miles and HHonors points over the years, which I enjoy. If you are going to do it, make sure you commit yourself to doing it so that you'll earn enough $$ to trade for miles/points before they expire in 1 year.

It's pretty easy and simple and the miles for NW and HHonors post immediately. For AA, CO, DL in a few days. US was a bit longer but more like only a week or so IIRC.

I put most of my $$ into HHonors.

The downside is the certificates only apply to a minimum purchase. It's not a straight up gift certificate. It's more like a promotional code. At the $50 level, you must purchase $125 of e-bags merchandise. This means you'll have to provide the remaining balance. For a $100 dollar cert. its a purchase of $275. This isn't a bad deal, assuming you are wanting to purchase luggage. The other catch is that certain items are not eligible for this promotion.

Last time I checked you could only do one NW WP miles award from E-rewards per calendar year. I've already done my $100 / 2000 miles redemption for NW for 2007 so upcoming redemptions go into other buckets.

I don't see much wrong with E-rewards and find the earning rate much better than e-miles (5 miles per survey? 2 miles? I don't even open the emails anymore). The one E-rewards annoyance is that some of their surveys are extremely targeted, so you can spend time filling out a long list of filter questions, then get tossed aside.

I tried to sign up for e-rewards and I got the following email:

So I guess I can scratch that from the 25,000 bonus thing. I posted this in NWA forum by accident, but it's still relevant because it's really a question about e-rewards, not Delta.
