Has anyone used BT-store.com? Do their rickets earn EQMs?

Wow, so many views without a reply. Well. I booked through them last night. Saved about $1200 for 4 people and it does earn world perks miles.

Are they at www.BT-Travelstore.com? I checked a couple of flights and didn't find any savings off flights I have already booked, but that are still a couple of months out.

Yes.

Wow --

That website appears to be nothing more than a 'front' listing links to other sites and doing a bit of advertising for additional revenue.

So, which link did you click-thru on to get to an actual booking site?

I don't think the site you referred to had much of anything to do with the deal you found!

Now that one I have never seen before. Doing TATL in a few weeks and will give it a try to see how it compares.

Thanks for the info and hope your travel is smooth and uneventful!

I used them last year (hugely discounted) on CO, and recieved a Y class bonus on my WP account. Didn't even know I was in Y class!

That's cool. I hope that happens to us. I just found better dates so that I lose two fewer days from work. That means two days of pay, as I have no paid vacation on account of the fact that I am a contractor. The new fare reduced the savings to $700 but I make up for that in terms of fewer dollars lost in pay. Moreover, my son won't have to miss school.

US-originating only :(

I've got a 1-way from the UK to Hawaii coming up this summer, but they don't do that sort of thing. :)

Yes, unfortunately, that's a drawback.

As a student myself, I imagine he'll be disappointed! :)

Actually, no. He was rather upset that he would be missing two days of school with my previous intinerary bought from NW.

Out of curiosity, did you do any research into this company/website before plunking down your money and giving your credit card info? If you saved $1,200, my guess is you paid far more than that for the tickets.

Maybe it is just me, but I am amazed at how trusting many people are of companies/websites they never heard of and never bother to do their research (I am not saying this applies to you, though no one here gave you feedback on it and you didn't mention anything about it in your posts).

Anyone can set up a website these days, even a travel one that looks legit and can make reservations for flights with airlines. That doesn't mean tickets will be issued. I work too hard for the little money I make to deal with sites I don't know about unless I check them out through at least two different third party sources. But as I said, that is just me.

Sometimes I wish I lived in the UK. You guys get your share of travel discounts too, especially to tourist/leisure destinations. Probably just not to Hawaii!
