Platinum Points

Does anyone know if PP will be continued this year?

This is the new promotion eliteextaperks...not sure if PP is around for 2007

So when did NW ever say that the Elite Extra replaced PP?
These two are very different in goals

The PP Program year just started on 3/1 anyway. Is it too early to post?

There's no problem with the B fare. 30 points each direction. if you have even a 100-mile flight on a codeshare partner, you will not get it as I found out in January. I was going to Budapest through AMS on a B fare. All the BUD service is on a KLM/NW Codeshare with Malev. All of it. Not even 1 real KLM flight. So Platinum points appeared (60 total), then disappeared after I had already seen them! Tacky, tacky. NW said it was because of the codeshare on Malev and that the rules are clear, etc. etc.! Customer service took care of me, but not under the asinine Platinum Points program.

How does one get registered for 2007 PP? Not that I will get any points but why not register? Can't find anything for me aside from the 2006 program.

By being a PE, you're automatically registered. However, if you're not signed up to receive nwa email, then you won't get reward notifications if you rack up enough points.

I'd just as soon have them terminate this program -- I seem to accumulate 100 or 120 points each year so never earn anything.
