Rescheduling flights from strike
I have a flight on NW Sept 7 (Bos/Ams) and a return Sept 18) for some very important meetings at both ends. I am increasinly concerned about the CHAOS effects and am thinking about changing the reservations (AF/KLM, other carriers) but the costs would be several thousand (not paid by me but paid nonetheless). Am I being too wimpy on this, is it too early to tell? As I understand it, things start to happen on Aug. 25 but Sept is not long after that. Thanks for any help.

How about a backup booking with a refundable fare?
If you are elite on NW I would expect them to take care of you and put you on KLM or other partner. The BOS flight is early enough that you can catch the late flights out of NYC. |
