Let me clarify. I use miles for award tickets for my wife & kids, not mine. For my ticket, I have been using $300 vouchers which I have received for accepting a bump on an oversold flight. I have applied these vouchers to my ticket, making two of them free & the ticket to Hawaii about half price.
