The "How Do I Earn Instant WorldPerks Miles" Thread [Merged Threads]

I have 19,940 miles in my WorldPerks account. Just only 60 miles away to issue an award ticket. Any instant miles can be earnd???

I already tried WorldPerks University and get 200 bonus miles.

Thanks for your reply and help!

Standard awards are 25,000 miles, not 20,000 if flying in the US. But by your name, I'm guessing you're in Asia for a 20k reward?

Don't you need 25,000 for an award?

A standard (PerkSaver) domestic award ticket is 25,000 miles. Did you have something different in mind that is 20K?

He most likely wants a 20k coach ticket intra-Asia. There's a thread going on about that right now.

OP: Just buy the miles. $95 for 2,500 miles at nwa.com. Or, just spend $60 at the WorldPerks Mall.

I need to issue the award ticket TODAY -_-"

Because I forgot to book the M-class economy promo fare before 3 days ago.

M-class economy promo fare from TPE-KIX only US$468 in high-season.
If I book this ticket with travel agency or NWA web-site,
It will cost around US$562.

I have another WorldPerks account(My Dad and Mon) and they both have few miles in account around 5,000 - 6,000 miles.

So I just thinking about that - "Transfer Miles" cost $50+$25 =Total$75
-OR-
Buy the miles. $95 for 2,500 miles at nwa.com

Thanks for your reply.

I already tried WorldPerks University and get 200 bonus miles immediately into account, before I try to post this "help message"...haha...

So I just tried every way that I found.

It looks like I really need to transfer miles or buy some miles at nwa.com

Just only 60miles away to collect award tickets! T_T.....

Deeply appreciated your all reply and kindness!

(Sorry my English is not good enough :P)

Did you try asking if they'll let your account go negative by that small amount? It worked for me once (on AA).

Exclamation any quick & cheap ways to earn miles to retain points?

well, I can't get the search option to work! Maybe you can help...
My miles on NW will expire in early November unless I have some activity in my account. Aside from selecting a partner from their web site, anyone know of any way to get free miles such as a survey or something? (I already joined Points.com so I can't claim those miles.)

thanks for any advice you can offer!

If you haven't already signed up for WorldPerks University, try this:
http://www.nwa.com/worldperks/university/

The miles will post almost instantaneously.

You are allowed to spend points to show activity also. So, a quick trip to the WP mall and buy something that you were already going to buy would do it. I really like this option, as I don't need to find the item in the store, I just pick it up at the pick-up window.

Likewise, getting a magazine subscription using miles would also restart the clock.

Correct me If I'm wrong, but worldperk miles don't expire, however your account becomes inactive if there is no activity there in three years.

I can't imagine letting not using any miles or having my account being inactive for three years, earn miles and use em, you don't get interest on banked miles. Just a little OT, I'm sure there are many reasons why an account can go inactive.
