I know the rest of you have figured this out allready, but I'm so proud that I finally did...
How to sleep in a WBC seat on the 330/744!
I've hated the things since they entered the fleet. Although the seats go "flat", they aren't "level". Since I'm a side sleeper, I end up sliding to the footrest. I've always been sure fellow pax walk by, see the tall guy in the fetal position, and point and laugh.
Yesterday they changed equipment from my beloved 742 to the 744. I was dreading the flight, because I always sleep my way from NRT to LAX.
Just by accident, I had the seat belt connected and out to full extension, and slipped it under my rump. WOW! Just like a climbing harness, it kept me from sliding. The sleep was unimpeeded and blissful.
I know, it's trivial, but it's the simple things that count...
All the best, James
