DBC and Worldclub
 

Am on some pretty heavy flites next week. If I take a bump, can I use the DBC to pay for WC membership renewal?

I know you can't use an EVC for WC... I've asked.

Not sure what a DBC is.

I've read that you cannot use the credit vouchers to pay for WC membership, although I have never tried it.

ECV's can not be used to purchase a membership

Almost all DBC is given out as ECVs these days, and I'm pretty sure they're only good for flights.

no you can only use them to buy other airline tickets.

Cash and Credit cards are the only "currency" for buying club memberships
 

The Clubs are a separate corporation and NW doesn't discount membership very often. There are very few membership 'sales' and vouchers and coupons are specifically excluded for use in purchasing WC memberships.

If you plan to use the clubs you will have to buy a membership.
