I think I figured this out at the time, now that I recall.... just saw the language that you "get" EQS and EQMs on Continental/NW and was hoping it had somehow changed to an absolute ;)

:confused: I qualified Silver about a month ago. A recent international trip gave me enough for Gold.

What happens on March 1st 2006? Do I start over from scratch, or do the EQMs I've earned since attaining Elite count toward next years.

I'm just not sure what happens to my status after 28 Feb '06.

You'll be gold until Feb 28 2007. But your 2006 EQM counter will reset to zero on Jan 1 2006.
