Using e-cert on NW to bring down CPM/EQM
This might be deemed to not be MR-related, but as an MRer I'm always looking for easy ways to bring down CPM/EQM, and I've found the following way to reliably work.
NW e-certs can be bought on craigslist.org for $8 at any time and give the following discounts: $25 - fare of $75-$199 $50 - fare of $200-$299 $75 - fare of $300-$399 $100-fare of $400 and up You will receive the discount code and a document number through e-mail (no shipping anything). This is just for those that didn't know... |
I'm going to move this to the Northwest forum, as it's not really about a Mileage Run but really about how to get cheaper NW fares. The moderator there may choose to close or delete this, as it borders on the debate of whether it's promoting buying/selling certificates, but I'll leave that up to them.

Not to be offensive, but the moderators here can be a bit restrictive about the posts. I think this information about e-certs is very useful to MRers, since CPM is their bottom line. As an MRer myself, I would love to see posts about using vouchers or e-certs to bring down CPM and where I can get them cheap.
But, the moderator has the power... |
The e-cert PD-925 mentioned is only one of the Northwest $ off coupons from amenity kits that people receive when a flight is delayed.
There are a number of other ones as well PD924, PD886, PD964, etc with different expiration dates and discount amount. PD924 fixed $35 off $200+ PD925 discount amount see above, expires on 09/2005 PD886 same discount as PD925, expires on 06/2005 PD964 same discount as PD925, expires on 07/2006 You can find more information from this thread http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=420383 |
