How to find a lower fare from ATL to YVR

I hope to get assistance from you all to see if you can help me to find a lower fare from ATL to YVR (Vancouver) on Northwest. The best fare right now is running at $477 traveling on May 27th and return on May 31st.

Any advise will be appreciated.

PS The above dates at this moment are not flexible.

Flight thought: NW 1433 ATL MSP, NW 575 MSP YVR May 27th
NW 1764 YVR MSP, NW 1540 MSP ATL May 31st

I do not know what flights you are interested, but loads for the 27th are high. I do not see how the fares will get any cheaper right now. Simply, the planes are filling up! For example, on the 27th:

NW 1429 ATL-MSP P9 F9 Y9 B9 M2 H0 Q0 V0 L0 T0 K0
NW 1763 MSP-YVR P9 F9 Y9 B9 M2 H0 Q0 V0 L0 T0 K0

I've watched BNA-YVR for a while now, in Feb. it was $400, then $440, and for the last month or so $550+ for early May. SEA has been $200-$250 because of WN, but the bus from there takes 3-4 hours to YVR so I'm glad I locked in on the $440. Breaking up the fare through SEA/PDX might work but engines like Orbitz are pretty good at that already.

Are you going for business and need exact dates? Or are you going for leisure and can have flexible dates?

If you have flexibility you can try to use a Zone Cert. PK010 fares from Atlanta to Canada run from $208 (Tuesday & Wednesday) to $238 (Th/Fri/Sat/Monday). Travel on Sundays (and Monday, May 31st in particular) is blacked out.

I have an extra cert if you need it.
