Red face "O" fare class on CO

Sorry if this has already been posted. I tried the search options that do exist without any luck.

CO has added a new fare class, "O", to its alphabet soup. Has anyone flown on an "O" class on CO metal, and have they received 100% EQMs credited to their Worldperks account? I would expect, since it is listed in the same category as CO K, N, V, U, and B fares on co.com that Worldperks members would receive 100% EQMs. However, nothing is listed on the Worldperks website about this fare class.

I think you should be okay.

As most of you are aware, CO lists Q,I,S,T,X,L as discount Y fares; these fares only garner 50% eqms for NW as well as no co.com tickets. Likewise co.com lists the following as regular Y fares: K, N, B, O, V, U earning and they are listed as earning 100% EQM on CO regardless of where purchased. This leads me to think that O would equate to full EQM crediting.

If that has any bearing - Delta lists an O fare as earning 100% MQMs, so I would imagine NW flyers would earn the same.

Thanks for the link to the DL site. Since both CO and DL are offering 100% EQMs on Co-coded, co-operated "O" fares, I'm inclined to believe that NW will as well.

To be safe, I'm going to send a comment in to NW to find out more info and ask if they can update their website.

Dear cmdinnyc,

Thank you for contacting WorldPerks.

The information we have is that Atalia designated/Continental-operated
flights booked in Class O will only receive 50% Elite Qualifying Miles
and will not count as an Elite Qualifying Segment.

This information is listed on our website http://www.nwa.com/freqfly/earn/airfl.shtml.
It is located under the 'Elite Qualifying Fare Classes on
Continental-Coded, Continental-Operated flights (except where noted).

At this time we do not have information regarding
Continental-designated/Continental-operated flights booked in O class.

Thank you for choosing Northwest Airlines and our alliance partners. We
value your patronage and consider it a privilege to serve your travel
needs. If you should have any other questions or concerns, please do
not hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
