EQM'S So Far In '05?

Coming close to the end of January now. How is everyone doing this year?

7,045 EQM's so far this month. Not a bad start to the year. Although I'm sure some of you out there are racking up miles at a monstrous rate!

Only 5,680 so far, but I will have travelled a total of 34,942 miles (in coach, nonetheless, so it'll be the equivalent # of EQMs) between 1/1 and 3/13/05... This is the first year I'm going for Elite Status with NWA, I'd say I'm off to a good start - would you agree???

About typical for the assignments I get, only about 5,400 miles so far.

Almost all of my jobs are short-haul, so 500 miles each way VPS-MEM and then whatever MEM-XXX, but it usually is 600-800 miles. Right now, that segment is MEM-MKE, for a little over 500 miles each way, so I ain't exactly burning the skys up.

But as I said, that's very typical for me.

3352 counting today's flight. Could have had 500 miles more, but the boarding pass got screwed up and I don't have it anymore.

EQM 11,105 and 13 segments. Looking forward to this weekend: ATL-IAH-SAV-EWR-MEM-ATL, $79+ taxes. Had to book it on Orbitz because NWA website says it doesn't fly from ATL to SAV. Now, Orbitz has got wise and I can't book the trip anymore. Darn! At least I got six roundtrips before the gravy train ended.

Good MR radio-flyer! ^

I should have 20K by 2/10. After that, a bit of a lull in travel. I usually pick it up in bunches on summer/fall trips to Europe. Speaking of which, CO is having a Z sale right now... (50% EQM bonus )

As of 1/19, I'm 17,100 EQM for 2005. I should be 20K by 1/24. Then I SLOW down, to nothingness until March. I have to burn $1400 in TCV from UA.

As of this morning, 13,200 + 2,000 that haven't posted, so 15,200 YTD. Not a bad start but I'll be lucky to make gold this year, not much more travel planned. But you never know!
