ex-NRT Bumps?

Just wondering has anyone been bumped lately ex-NRT to BKK or SIN. I am flying to SIN on Thurs and the flight has been pretty much zeroed out for weeks. Just wondering if they really oversale those markets and will bumps be possible?

I was bumped last fall MSP-NRT. Got $750 and a night in a hotel. I ordered pizza and watched movies all evening, after walking around mall of america. It was the best relaxation I've had in a long time. They took bumps the next day too, but I couldn't delay any longer.

BTW, if NWA bumps you in NRT ask for the Radison. That's where I was put when my BKK flight was too late for my connection to US. The place is so nice, and buffet pretty good. And they have an inexpensive bus which picks up at the hotel to center of Tokyo that only took 1 hour. This looked like where the flight attendants generally stay.

Red face Hotel Sofitel or the Marquette Hotel

Not trying to tell you guys what to do... but I would ask for the Hotel Sofitel ^ in Bloomington (very nice)... or the Marquette Hotel ^ in downtown Minneapolis. If you get the chance, try to take in my friend's play -- "Triple Espresso: A Totally Caffinated Comedy". It usually plays at the Music Box Theatre downtown next to Orchestra Hall (http://www.tripleespresso.com/minneapolis/index.html)

Toodles.

P.S. Go Timberwolves!
