Hi everyone, Happy New Year to all. I need some help! I am trying to select seats for my flight on Jan. 2, 2005 and retuning on Jan. 23, 2005 IAD-AMS and AMS-BOM and returning DEL-AMS and AMS-IAD. First flight is on KLM and then NWA. I am silver elite and thought i might select some good seats but i dont know why it wont let me choose seats just says seats pending. Any idea why is it so and what can i do Thanks so much.

Hi! I just found out about this little "trick". When you are trying to select your seats, make sure you are using the "View My Reservations" option, and not the "My Info" option on the general sales portion of the website. The "My Info" seat selector will not allow you to select Exit row as an elite, but the "View My Reservations" will. I received this tip from another elite member I flew with SEA-MSP a couple of months ago.

If this still doesn't work, call the Silver Elite Line and ask the telephone agent to conctact inventory control and put you in the seats you want. They will do it for you.

Search the board for KLM seats. You'll find that folks consistently have trouble getting "P" and exit row seats on KL metal, regardless of status.

I've found that you can't select seats on KL metal through View Reservations at all, and can usually only select regular seats through View My Info. Recently I was able to select a "P" seat on KL metal for my non-elite dad on a Rulebuster ticket through View My Info, though, so who knows.

Remember, View Reservations and View My Info are DIFFERENT seat selection systems. They look similar, but are not the same.

I had this same problem last night and called the Gold Elite line. Next time I am going to try the View My Reservations tab.

I used this today and got Exit rows under the View My Reservations tab, when I could not get them under My Info.
