CO Ticket (not a NWA code share) and EQM
Before I buy a CO ticket (not a code-share), I want to make sure that it is eligible for 100% EQM. This is what the NWA web site says:
Elite Qualifying Fare Classes on Continental-coded, Continental-operated flights (except where noted) Elite Qualifying Miles at 150%: J, C, Z, Y, A, D, H Elite Qualifying Miles at 100%: K, N, B, V, U Elite Qualifying Miles at 50%*+: Q, I, S, W, T, X, L Elite Qualifying Segments: A, C, D, J, Z, Y, H The CO fare code is: UL52SE Hence, this fare code is eligible for 100% EQM. Or am I missing something? Thanks for the help with this dense question. |
No, you didn't miss anything. You should be getting 100% EQM for this fare class.

Doesn't the metal you are flying matter? You will not get miles if flying Virgin with a CO issued ticket.

But it's also why the NW WorldPerks site says "Continental-coded, Continental-operated flights". -RM |
It's all CO metal. Thanks for all the reponses and information.

Make sure you keep a hard copy of your basis showing the "U" code. You receive this when they send you confirmation of your ticket being purchased. It probably doesn't matter with a U code, but it does if you have one of the 150% codes. If you get upgraded by EUA by CO, it will show as an R code which NW will only credit you 100% when CO reports to NW your mileage.
