US Silver matched NW Silver - only til 2/05
 

The nice folks at WorldPerks extended me the courtesy of a Silver elite, to match my Silver on US. (US recently pulled out of SBN, losing me as a customer.) However, they did not offer any kind of challenge to earn status for 3/2005-2/2006. It was the standards 20 segments or ##,000 miles before 12/31/04.

I was well on my way to another year of elite on US, and NW was well aware of that. (I sent my most recent dividend miles statements, as requested.) Does NW offer fasttrack challenge? Any suggestions? (I'll likely have at least 12 NW segments by year's end.)

This is standard for NW. I doudt you will do better. Often a good idea to get these deals early in the year so that you can get status on your own.

Thank you - though I've been lurking for quite a while.

And yes, I would have done it sooner, had I known that US was pulling out of SBN (announced July 19).
