Is EUA working?
On 6/4 I (gold) booked SEA-DTW-DCA flying on 6/8 and BWI-SEA on 6/10. No EUA. Messages said first full and standby list full. But I got upgraded at the gate on every flight. I loved the seats, but the anxiety waiting is ALMOST worse than knowing you are going to fly in coach.
Any explanations for this behavior? |

Any explanations for this behavior? Where else can you get that kind of rush without actually being in Vegas? :D |

Yes, EUA has been working. I actually got all three of my wed flights upgraded before hand including an MSP-DTW connection. (Normally the other two flights are the only ones that auto-upgrade) They seem for the most part to have it working.
I hate that I have to call to get a seat assignment though since online won't give you the FC map for seats unless you're checking in, but am happy to know I'm at least up front. flyerCO(NW) |

Any explanations for this behavior? Last week on a PHX/MSP/IND run, half the F class seats were open on the day of travel from PHX to MSP. I still had to do a battlefield upgrade that day. This afternoon I leave for a weekend golf tournament in LIT and have already been upgraded on my IND/MEM/LIT legs both ways. My understanding is that the terms and conditions of the new EUA is about the same size and jargon as the US fiscal budget binders that Congress receives.Even with the myriad of complexities, from watching CO and DL forum boards it looks like we still have the best game in town. ;) |
