WP hotel bonus
 

hi,
I wish I had found this site earlier.....anyway, here's my question:

I just checked the NW website and saw they had promotion for hotel points. I've been staying at Hilton hotels at least 8 to 21 days out of each month (and have been since late Feb.) In any event, I will be staying in Hiltons for 4 nights, beginning next week. The promotion ends on May 15. You don't get any additional miles for your first stay, and I won't be in a Hilton again until May 18. Also, I figure that "stays" doesn't = "nights." I'd really like to take advantage of this offer.....can anyone offer advice on this? (I have all previous hotel receipts if that helps....)

Also, I have a gold rewards card from Raddison, that would give me 2K miles on NW. (I have about 51k on NW now.) Is it worth using these points for miles, or should I save for hotel? (My apologies if this is an ongoing topic on FT.)

You are refering to the WP Mileage Maximizer promotion. Since you had not registered for this promotion, you will not receive bonus miles for your past stays regardless of your hotel receipts according to the T&C of the promotion. If you register now, you will not earn bonus miles (earn only the normal miles for partner hotel) for your next stay. And the next three stays will occur after the promotion ends (May 15).

I don't understand what you are writing about in your last paragraph (2,000 miles for Gold Rewards?? points for miles??) to give you any advice. Please be more specific.

sorry to be vague....I was referring to points for miles....(I'll admit, as a newbie, I may be on wrong forum.....)

You're probably on the right forum, but it sounds like you're (please excuse the use the vernacular here) "screwed" for this promotion because you didn't find it in time to really make use of it. Welcome to Flyertalk and DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT US AGAIN! :D
