Atlantic Airways flights between CPH and LYS ???

Dear all,

Yesterday at CPH airport, I was puzzled about arriving flight RC7026 from Lyon, France.
A search on flight tracking website shows a weekly CPH-LYS (RC7025) and the return flight above.

But why would the airline of Faroe Islands have a flight from Denmark to France ? All other recent flights for that aircraft (OY-RCM) were showing to or from FAE airport.

These flights don't seem to appear on Atlantic Airways either.
Are they even bookable, and if so how ?
Are they charter flights on behalf of another airline ?

Thank you in advance for any insights !!!

A very confused JudgeJ-

The CPH-LYS flights are invariably bookended by flights to and from FAE, so one concludes that they are really flights from the Faeroes to France. Why there is a particular market for LYS is another question.

Thanks ! Yes, but people were actually collecting their baggage in CPH ?!? ( I noticed because we were at same baggage carrousel ). And LYS isn't listed as destination from FAE (even indirect with connexion), unlike BRU, GVA and many more, on the Atlantic Airways website...

So, I couldn't stay without an answer and emailed Atlantic Airways to ask !

Turns out that these were charter flights for a Danish ski holidays operator.

Mystery solved, thanks for your help !
