eGates available in Oslo?
 
Hi everyone,
Do you know if OSL installed eGates at passport control (entry and exit)?
A few years ago they installed them only for Norwegian citizens. Have they expanded to other citizenships?

I haven't been to OSL lately, but Norway is a member of the Schengen area which means that all non-EU/EEA nationals (such as Americans and Brits) need to have their passports stamped, which usually mean that e-gates can't be used for those nationals.

The passenger is a citizen of a Schengen country so I wonder if they made eGates available to other Schengen countries or whether they are still restricted to Norwegian citizens.

They still could implement e-gates to do most of the checks but with an officer present to do the stamping for third-country nationals, like Germany's EasyPass or Finnish exit control.

I can confirm that there are eGates at OSL for EU/EEA/EFTA citizens only.
