First time Oslo, one night, need advice/help

Travel next week.
Flight arrives OSL from FRA at 12:30p.m. Leaves next day morning to CDG at 6:15a.m.
Have two suitcases and a carry-on.
Not sure to stay at city centre or at airport.
I did a search but could not find information about: Taking a taxi to/from airpot/city hotel (thinking of Radisson Plaza or Park Inn).
Any advice would be appreciated.

I would suggest staying at the Radisson or Park Inn hotels at OSL airport. It will make a person more mobile sooner than later so as to maximize your time moving about and it will result in less potential stress in the morning due to not having to count on transport issues/times at the wee hours of the morning most critical for getting to the check-in counter on time.

But if willing to pay for taxis both ways, the equation may be different. But I still wouldn’t want to count on a taxi at 4:45am.

I would stay at the airport. Both hotels are walking (Park Inn is a minute more) and can take trolley. There is under cover area to Park Inn. I stay at whichever is less expensive as both very basic (and same brand). Burgers at Park Inn are tasty especially with a draft to wash it down.

I agree with the above posters. I live in Oslo (without a car), and always stays at the airport at either Radisson Blu or Park Inn when having an 6.15 a.m. (or thereabout) flight
