Long term stay options > 1 month
 

I’m a frequent traveler staying at Hyatt hotels as a Globalist. I live in a cold weather state and starting to think about spending a month or possibly longer each winter in a warm climate.

In the past I would book 1 week in January and then another week in February at a Hyatt, for example. Now I’m considering additional options to stay for a month or more in one spot.

Any ideas on sites to book longer term rentals? All I really need is a 1 bedroom but having a small kitchen area and larger living space would be ideal for 2 adults. I’ve looked at Hyatt House locations and that could be an option but would like other long term rental suggestions. Thanks

I'd suggest AirBnB or even a house sit. There are a couple of reliable web sites that allow people looking for a house sitter with those looking for a free place to stay for anything from a couple of days to a year. Many of them do require you to care for a pet, a garden, or a jungle of houseplants, but it seems a small price to pay to have what are often very nice homes in great areas for nothing out of pocket.
