Long term rentals?
What are your suggestions for 30+ days rentals? Anywhere in the world. I'm thinking of something like serviced apartments (fairly common in Chiang Mai), taking over leases (through Facebook groups - Bangkok), or sites like Flatio, HomeAway or TrustedHouseSitters. I live in Jersey City and was trying to think about what would a long term traveler coming to NY do and frankly couldn't come up with a decent idea. Subletting a place in NY is a nightmare: you just never know what kind of a legal minefield you'd be stepping into.

95Wall on Wall Street offers flexible rental term apartments. |
Serviced apartments are pretty common everywhere. Certainly in NY they are plentiful. I even rented one in St. John’s, Newfoundland, so it’s not just big cities. It’s also possible to rent Airbnbs longer-term (depending on how the owner structures the listing, of course)—there is a whole category of listings that can be rented for more than 30 days. |
